Following the sudden news of her hospitalization, former actress Shim Eun Ha gave an official statement/update on her current health situation on June 21 after returning to stable conditions.
"I wasn't aware of it recently but I struggled with a great deal of stress. I needed medical treatment, but I was able to cope with the external forces on my own, as well as through taking care of my children, and overcame the obstacles," Shim Eun Ha stated.
She continued, "Recently, I began taking medication and was admitted to the hospital. I am doing well now and will be discharged from the hospital soon. I apologize for the troubling incident."

Prior to this, Shin Eun Ha was rushed to thehospital after a drug overdose, with her husband Ji Sang Wook tending to her side. Medical experts determined it was not a life-threatening incident.
