On May 24, Shinhwa Company made an official announcement via Facebook regarding the sudden cancellation of Shinhwa's Japanese concert,�'2017 SHINHWA LIVE UNCHANGING IN JAPAN', that was originally scheduled to be held on May 30-31.

Shinhwa Company explained,�"The Japanese performance agency responded insincerely to the contract regarding the performance preparations. They are not showing any interest in going about with the concert due to the issue about the agency giving out information�to Japanese fan club during the pre-sale period in the end of April, which has nothing to do with the actual concert itself."
Furthermore, Shinhwa Company revealed the details pertaining to the Japanese agency's contract violation, and stated, "We will be taking strong legal action against the contract breach."
