11 'Produce 101' trainees below Rank 35 you should know

1. Rank 37 - Kim Tae Min (Hanahreum Company)

This one is a little sad as Kim Tae Min left the show because of medical issues. Thankfully, because his reasons were fully medical and not controversial, he's not edited out from the episodes. He was well loved for his hyper personality (refer to his hidden box video) and showcased his rapping skills in 'Fear', so it's a shame he had to leave.

2. Rank 38 - Hong Eun Ki (GON)

He was chosen as the 'dancing king' during the dance battle in Episode 5. He's learned ballet and can choreograph, which resulted in a high-quality "Right Round" stage that he led. Viewers are starting to notice his dance ability, so hopefully, he can push himself over the cutoff.

3. Rank 40 - Woo Jin Young (HF Music Company)

'Not the Same Person You Used to Know' was the most anticipated rap stage by the trainers, and for good reason. Woo Jin Young is sadly the lowest ranking out of the three (excluding Ha Min Ho, who left the show after sexual harassment controversies), but showed off just how good his rapping was last week.

4. Rank 41 - Kim Dong Hyeon (Brand New Music)

He is sadly the lowest ranking Brand New Music trainee and the only one who is in danger of being cut (the others rank in the 10s). However, he showed in his 'Boys and Girls' stage that not only could he sing, he could also rap.

5. Rank 42 - Joo Jin Woo (MMO Entertainment)

Out of the three remaining MMO trainees, Joo Jin Woo is the only one in danger of being cut. Even though he sang 80% of 'Call Me Baby' by himself in the first round, his bad throat condition didn't bring that great results. He showed off his vocals better in 'If It Were You', but lost out in editing to Kim Yong Guk. Still, his beautiful voice is one to take note of.

6. Rank 43 - Lee Gwang Hyun (Starship Entertainment)

Compared to fellow Starship trainee Jung Se Woon, Lee Kwang Hyun ranked almost 30 ranks lower. He didn't get to show off his voice as well as Jung Se Woon did, and in an effort to show something new to the viewers, he chose the rap song 'Rhythm TA' instead of his original vocal position. Even in the new position, he showed incredible passion and practiced night and day, so much that even the other trainees knew his rap.

7. Rank 45 - Yun Hee Seok (Jellyfish Entertainment)

Jellyfish's only trainee has sadly not been able to show off his full potential. He's been falling steadily since his first position of 25 (most likely due to the lack of any sort of screen time), and even though he was the one who hit all the high notes in 'Amazing Kiss', lack of parts and a slight mistake in the beginning landed him last in the group. Hopefully, fans will be able to hear his voice one more time.

8. Rank 48 - Justin (Yuehua Entertainment)

Justin is another case that has been falling since his initial rank of 18. He was first noticed for his cute looks but fell after a severe lack of screen time. However, fans were very impressed with his dancing during the 'Shape of You' stage, so there's hope for him yet.

9. Rank 50 - Lee Yoo Jin (Namoo Actors)

Lee Yoo Jin was actually one of the top 11 visuals of the show as chosen by the trainees themselves (he was #11). He's the only one out of those 11 that ranks lower than 35 currently, which is surprising as Lee Yoo Jin can sing, rap, and compose music. He was also the leader for ranks 1 and 2 and is decently talented, so it's surprising to see him rank so low.

10. Rank 54 - Yeo Hwan Ung (RBW Entertainment)

Yeo Hwan Ung is a cute, very talented trainee that is the victim of being completely edited out. He had almost no screen time in the first few episodes and barely got any time even as the center of "Right Round" because the editing focused on the friction between leader Hong Eun Ki and high-ranking member Joo Hak Nyeon. All the same, his dancing is something viewers should keep note of.

11. Rank 57 - Zheng Ting (Yuehua Entertainment)

Zheng Ting also suffered a lack of screen time, and he's been largely ignored for the other Yuehua Trainees. He was one of the ballet dancers during the dance battle of episode 5 and showed amazing chemistry with Hong Eun Ki even though they'd never practiced together. He is one of the few trainees of 'Produce 101' that can do flips and knows how to use it well during his stages, which ended up getting him 10,000 votes as the #1 trainee of the NSYNC 'Pop' group.
