The reporter stated, "I've spoken with a sponsor broker and I was told that there are rankings. There aren't many A class (celebrities). B class receives about 15,000,000 KRW (~$13,000 USD) and C class gets paid about 3,000,000 KRW (~$2,600 USD). This is not for every meeting but it's a package of at least 3 months."
Another reporter added that the pay is highly influenced by the celebrity's class. Each member of a girl group can have a different class depending on their popularity, visuals, etc. For actresses, the dramas and movies they've worked on decide their class.
The sponsor contract also includes a clause about pregnancy and abortion. If the celebrity gets pregnant, she must get an abortion in another country. The reporter explained, "The contract lays out who will be paying how much for the trip and their responsibilities in detail."
