'Produce 101' contestant Jang Won Chul apologizes for 'stealing' VIXX N's choreography in his intro video

'Produce 101' season 2 contestant Jang Won Chul officially apologized for using VIXX N's choreography in his intro video without giving credit.

The HF Music Company trainee performed a beautiful dance for his 1-minute intro video. Unfortunately, many netizens pointed out that the choreography is greatly similar to the one performed by N during 'VIXX LIVE FANTASIA ELYSIUM' concert. Jang Won Chul was ultimately accused of and criticized for stealing the dance created by N.

In response to the issue, HF Music Company posted an apology. The label stated,

"We sincerely apologize for not paying careful attention to the 1-minute PR intro video when we should've deeply cared for it. We also believe that such a mistake is unacceptable."

HF Music Company then listed their wrongdoings, and continued,

"1. The choreography, which was a personal creation by VIXX's N, was used without credit.

2. We processed on without checking when we're an entertainment agency that needs to be aware of the importance of copyright.

All of our employees will carefully check the details on copyrights and personal creations from now on, and make sure we don't repeat the same mistake again.

We once again apologize to Jellyfish Entertainment, VIXX's N, and all Starlights who were hurt by the issue.We also apolgize to the producers of Mnet 'Produce 101' season 2. HF Music Company will make sure that such disgraceful incident does not happen again."
