Taking place inside Black Label's studio, singer Zion.T shared various moments in his life such as when he first encountered old school YG group 1TYM's "HOT" which sparked his interest in the hip-hop genre. "I'm a fan of hip-hop and that all started after singing 'HOT' by 1TYM at karaoke which was a complete accident." Zion.T had inputted the wrong song at Karaoke and 1TYM's "Hot" came on, he decided to sing it and that was the spark for his love of hip-hop.
In regards to "The Song," "I think 'The Song' is first and foremost a gift. But...I decided to keep it simple." When asked who it was specifically dedicated to, Zion.T hesitated for a moment and replied "Everyone(?)."
The singer made an honest statement saying, "I don't think my position in the charts right now is important. I want people to know the thoughts...music, and the work I had created."
