According to a report by Star News on February 13, the actress was getting ready in the morning when she slipped in the bathtub. Feeling chest pain, Park So Hyun went to the hospital where it was discovered that she has fractured ribs.
Her agency stated, "Park So Hyun complained she had trouble breathing. She contacted her manager and was immediately rushed to the hospital."
Currently, Park So Hyun is resting at home and is said to be receiving treatment along with physical therapy.
Having been in charge of various programs as an MC and DJ, it seems stars like Super Junior's Shindong and g.o.d member Danny Ahn will fill in for Park So Hyun for the time being. The timetable for her ribs to heal is around 4 weeks.
Park So Hyun's agency commented, "We apologize for the unexpected situation and to the viewers for her vacancy on programs. We will do our best to make sure she gets plenty of rest and recovers soon."
