According to police officials stationed in Busan, on January 15, a taxi driver identified as Mr. Huh was trying to park his car in the back street of a residential area when he crashed, causing a collision with 9 other parked vehicles.
Mr. Huh stated, "I was trying to park my car when a cat appeared out of nowhere. I tried to avoid it by jerking my handle all the way to the right when the accident occurred."
He continued, "The entire car shifted towards the front, causing the deflectors to malfunction."
The police reported, "The front right side of the tire came out, making the car sway to the right for 50 meters (164 feet)." Meanwhile, police are investigating the car's black box to obtain more clues.
The cab driver's breathalyzer test recorded "normal", however with speculation of a possible cerebral hemorrhage he appears to be in need of a doctor's consultation.
