Shindong appeared on a recent broadcast of 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope' and talked about how his physique changed after serving in the military!
Kim Shin Young brought up the fact that he dyed his hair, and Shindong said, "I wanted to so badly. I wanted to stand out. I wondered what I should do. Should I grow facial hair? I couldn't grow my hair long, dye my hair, grow facial hair, or wear an earring while I was in 'Bbobbobbo.' I did 'Bbobbobbo' for four and a half years then grew facial hair. Kim Shin Young then said, "Chubby people lose weight after coming back from the military..." and Shindong said, "No one might know this. When I went into the military, I did not do an interview. I wanted to go in quietly. Because I had gained a lot of weight. I lost a lot now. I had weighed 11 kg (~ 24 lbs) more before. Since going to the training center, the weight shed fast.
