On January 17, Park Myung Soo hosted his KBS 'Park Myung Soo's Radio Show' where he listened to his audience's concerns.
He began his show with a saying, "Japan's way of 'gathering money is like trying to dig up the ground using a needle, and spending money is the same as water seeping through the sand.'"
Park Myung Soo agreed with the saying and commented, "Upon discovering such a good expression as this one, they can purposely say something nice to us but they are not." He scolded, "Japan should say the right thing."
The entertainer referred to the neighboring country's harsh way of dealing with money to overcome the situation, by paying 1 Billion yen ($10.8 million USD) to the victims.
With that, he stated, "The people of the Republic of Korea are cool. They would understand if you gave a proper apology. I would like for them to bow their heads and sincerely apologize," asking for a sincere apology from Japan.
