'New Journey to the West 3' PD says Kyuhyun didn't play the role he was cast for during filming!

The press conference for the 3rd season of 'New Journey to the West' took place on January 4 (KST) with cast members Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hyun, Kyuhyun, and WINNER's Song Min Ho. During it, Na PD said about casting Kyuhyun, "In Kyuhyun's case, I thought after watching him on 'Radio Star' that he was funny and good at MC-ing. So I wanted him to play the role of arbitrator during filming. Those wishes got swept away quickly. This [show] had nothing to do with ['Radio Star']. In reality, he ended up just playing the guy who looks capable on the outside but isn't much on the inside (or "Heo-dang")."

Kyuhyun also said on this day, "I have no idea what I filmed when I came back. But I know that the power of editing is strong. Please enjoy watching."
