Also, returning to the project is French illustrator Mattis Dovier who is responsible for the weird yet mesmerizing artwork depicted throughout the music video.
Shaded in black and white, "Liquor" opens with a mysterious death, cutting to various flashing neon signs, lighting up the night in Korea. A man is at a strip club smoking a cigarette blatantly staring at the seductive performer on stage. He then rushes to the restroom after chugging down an intoxicating drink.
Soon, a gang appears trying to cause a ruckus when a fight breaks out, causing the man to jump out the window. Towards the end, investigators are taking photographs of the man's mangled body for evidence at the crime scene.
Short yet strikingly impactful, "Liquor" reflects on the way people in Korea are constantly being pressured by society, where the only means of escape seem to be drinking and partying.
Releasing their first EP 'KIYOMI' last July, XXX rapper Kim Ximya will be collaborating with TDE producer D. Sanders for an exclusive mixtape.
