On January 27, composer Stay Alone expressed his concerns regarding B.Heart's "Realistic" plagiarism controversy of B2ST's "Ribbon."

The composer wrote on his Instagram, "The two songs may sound similar to listeners, however, when comparing the melody it is difficult to say they are the same."

Furthermore, "Compared to the characteristics of a 3-beat song and 4-beat song, a remake is relatively narrow.  It may only sound similar due to the inclusion of similar fillers."

Stay Alone explained, "I am stating that it was not plagiarism and it was my fault for not focusing on the misunderstandings from listeners.  I sincerely apologize."

However, "Ribbon" composer Kim Taejoo replied, "Now isn't that an arrogant answer," unable to hide his anger.
