Recently, a rep of YG Entertainment stated to a media outlet, "Big Bang has labored for a long time in order to appear on a KBS music program, but they've yet to receive a response, which is a shame and for which they feel sorry toward fans," raising speculation that a problem lies between YG Entertainment and KBS's entertainment department.
On top of that, Big Bang's "Fxxk It" was deemed inappropriate by KBS, adding weight to the suspicions. KBS had claimed the decision was drawn because of the curses, slang, and vulgar expressions used in the song. YG Entertainment had said in response, "We have no plan to modify the problematic portions and submit for another review," so the song won't be able to air on KBS.
On December 29, a rep of KBS's entertainment department said, "'The higher-ups in KBS would not make a decision, so Big Bang can't appear in KBS's entertainment shows' is not true. It is true that Big Bang's agency YG Entertainment and the producers who direct our programs have been exchanging words, but it's not like if the directors and managers meet up, then all of the singers appear on the program, right?"
