According to a reporter on the November 30 airing of variety show, 'Brave Reporters 3,' a girl group member used to date her manager!
On this day, an entertainment reporter spilled, "The girl group member often hears that she looks arrogant based on her looks, but she's actually a nice girl. She usually dates other celebrities, but she and her road manager caught each other's attention. They had grown attached to each other while going through her busy schedule together. I hear that the road manager was a newcomer who fell for her kind charms," surprising everybody on the show with this news.
The reporter continued, "I hear that the road manager fell so deeply in love with her to the point he couldn't look her in the eyes. They were able to start dating when she called up the road manager and supposedly first brought it up with, 'You like me, right? You want to date?' I hear that she would wake up early in the morning to prepare packed food for the manager who's unable to [get food] and even cover him with [coats] when he's sleeping in the car. When the entertainment reps disregarded him as a rookie manager, she would get heated up and defend him.
"But the manager's financial situation was not good at the time. His rent had been pushed back, but one day, money came into his bank that was enough to pay the rent. He thought it was a bonus from the company, but he found out that in order to not hurt his pride, she had made the deposit through the company.
"The problem is that while the manager was receiving this excessive love, his behavior started to change. He gradually started to make unreasonable requests to the idol. After hooking her up with an event, he would get personal monetary gain behind her back. He even tricked the idol and started seeing another woman. After finding this out, she broke up with him, and I hear he still regrets it to this day."
Kim Jung Min said to the reporter, "What's the charm of this manager that won over her heart?" and the reporter stated, "He's tall with a nice body."
Shin Dong Yup then said, "These days, the managers dress well and are reliable." The reporter said, "He's not good-looking, but he's the type you'd put your trust in," raising more interest.
