Kangnam says he isn't recognized without blonde hair + wants to debut outside Asia

In a recent interview with Ilgan Sports taken over drinks and barbecue, Kangnam talked about his popularity and desire to spread out.

Regarding his trademark blonde hairstyle, the singer and variety star stated, "I once dyed it black, but no one was able to recognize me.  It was to the point I wondered, 'Wow, how could they not recognize me like this?'  It exhausted my energy.  I even thought, 'I worked so hard!'  It's like my blonde hair rather than my face became popular."

When asked what he would like right now, Kangnam said, "I really like trying new things. My immediate goal is to do a good job at an offer I got, but if I get the chance later, I want to try going overseas.  I'm dreaming on advancing overseas.  Asia is nice, too, but somewhere completely foreign like America!"
