"Can we ask Obama to come and be our president?" 

"Tell Park Geun Hye to do 1/10th of a good job as President Noh (former president)." 

"Why did adults vote like this? I could do a better job than Park Geun Hye." 

High school students who did not vote nor have the right to vote were angry, spewing out the words above. On the night of November 11, about 4,000 citizens gathered in front of a Daegu Department Store in Daegu, Korea. Many of them high school students, still wearing uniforms. They held candles and signs that read, "Park Geun Hye Out." 

"Adults are so strange. They voted for [President Park] and now they are asking her to step down. I don't understand President Park and I don't understand the adults," said Yuk Hye Bin, an 18-year-old. 

Jung Hye Bin, also 18 years old, shook her head as she said, "How can Park govern in such a manner when even her father was a president? If she's going to do a bad job, why doesn't she step down? I don't get why she is staying."

"I was here last week on November 5 for the first protest. I am a high school senior, but does studying matter when the state of our country is like this? I am going to march with my friends today. I want Park to step down quickly," 18-year-old Lee Ye Jin added. 

On this night's protest, more citizens gathered than the first one, which hosted about 3,000 people. The street was filled with people, and some people stood in the doorways of buildings but stayed until the end with candles in their hands nonetheless. They shouted, "Park Geun Hye step down! Arrest Park! Disband New Frontier Party (party that supports Park)!" Ironically, this protest location is only 150 meters (~500 ft) from where President Park was born. 

Bae Han Sung (52) shouted, "Is this a country? I am angry and furious that I couldn't stay home, so I brought my family here. If I had the power to, I want to overturn everything. That crazy woman ruined the country!" 

Ahn Eun Young, a 38-year-old mom commented, "I lived believing that everything will be okay as long as we work hard, but now I cannot describe how devastated I feel. My husband and I brought our 3-year-old son. He is too young to know anything, but when he grows older, he will learn why we are here today."
