On the November 16 broadcast of MBC FM4U 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope,' Chaeyeon made a guest appearance.
When the DJ asked the singer, "Is it true that you make a lot of money in China?" Chaeyeon responded, "It could be true but it could also be false."

She explained, "There are many cities in China, so there are more opportunities to work, but I don't get paid as much as people imagine. My fee is almost the same in Korea and in China."
Chaeyeon also added, "But in China, the work expenses are crazy. You usually can't go from city to city around in a car, so you have to use a plane. The shortest schedule is 1-2 days and average is 2-3 days. You make more, but you also spend more."
