Actress Park Shin Hye has become a member of the 'Philanthropy Club' of 'Korea Food for the Hungry International' ('KFHI') for her generous donations.
'KFHI', an organization dedicated to raising the awareness of poverty and hunger around the world, recognized the actress by inducting her into the 'Philanthropy Club', which is dedicated to supporters who've donated more than 100 million Won (~$85,000 USD).
The actress has been a goodwill ambassador for the charity organization since 2011, and she's been focusing on helping those in need through the 'Starlight Angel Project', which is named after her fan club.
Park Shin Hye commented, "I haven't done much, but I'm thankful and embarrassed to be given this spot. I'll work harder to share and participate to fit the title of philanthropist."
