Uhm Tae Woong was investigated for sexual assault earlier this year and was eventually investigated for soliciting prostitution. The courts found him innocent of sexual assault, but ordered him to pay a fine of 1 million Won ($875 USD).

I sincerely apologize for causing disappointment and worry among those who support and care about me due to an unsavory situation.
I have the most sorry heart to my family, who suffered the most harm.
I'll do my best to heal the scars I caused though it may take a long time.
I'll live by reflecting on my wrong actions. I apologize."
