A heated debate over whether or not the beginning choreography of IOI's new song may be too provocative for the group, whose age range is from 15-21 years old, has been ongoing on online communities.
The choreography move in question takes place during the intro of the song, when the members group together in a pyramid formation, with Kim Do Yeon, Zhou Jieqiong (Pinky), and Lim Na Young starting off crouched down in the front before raising their bottoms up, then eventually coming up all the way and flipping around.
Those who say the move is too provocative have been arguing with comments like "I didn't notice it before but it is a little uncomfortable... plus its the three skinniest members with the nicest bodies...", "If you watch that with your parent and feel uncomfortable during it, that means its provocative", "I feel bad... that move isn't cute or pretty, its just uncomfortable, so did they have to put it...", and more.
Those who disagree claim, "It's like one second, get over it", "It all depends on the viewer's perspective", "You're making it weirder by taking a screen cap of it and making a fuss over it", "They're just continuing the pyramid formation", etc.
What do you think about the debate?
