Former 4minute member Jiyoon recently started teasing for her solo debut under JS E&M after the group's disbandment. She'll be the first former member to start off her own round of promotions since leaving Cube, and opened up about the separation in an interview the other day.

"The members talked about this for a very long time and each member worried over what course she would take," Jiyoon said. "We didn't even think about disbandment until the very end, but we reached this point because we respected one another's opinions. We were so sorry toward our fans who were going to be so taken aback, and all the members were heartbroken. I'm only able to stand alone like this now thanks to 4minute. 4minute was the skeleton for my experiences, and now I need to personally stick the flesh onto it."
