A father of a soccer player who supposedly committed suicide back in 2011 is being charged with rape. As if that isn't bad enough, the alleged crime took place where the son took his own life.
The alleged victim, a woman much younger than the suspect, was the vice-president of a committee that was helping the soccer player's parents find the truth behind their son's death. The soccer player, surname Yoon, was found in his car in 2011 but many suspect that there was foul play involved. Despite helping the family, the alleged victim claims she was raped by the soccer player's father.
The alleged victim claims that the father assaulted her first in the car (at the same location of where the son was found dead), then later moved to another location to commit the atrocity again.
Even though she's devastated, the woman did not want bad press towards the soccer player's death case that she had worked so hard on and asked the perpetrator for a sincere apology. She gave him a chance to ask for forgiveness. However, instead of apologizing, the father accused her of being in the wrong and denied any wrongdoings on his part.
The woman tried to take her own life twice from all stress of the situation and later decided to report the crime to the police.
It is reported that the police have confirmed the validity of the victim's accusations for both incidents of rape.
As the investigation continues, the accused man said during an interview with Insight, "The investigation is now under the prosecutor's office...The sexual assaults did not happen."
