Unexpected amount of fans show up to purchase tickets for ASTRO's 1st Japanese showcase

ASTRO's unexpected popularity in Japan has caused Fantagio Music to take extra measures for the rookie group's upcoming debut Japanese showcase, 'ASTRO THE 1st SEASON SHOWCASE IN 2016'!

Originally, ASTRO was scheduled to greet approximately 1,300 fans through a one-time event at the TSUTAYA O-EAST venue in Tokyo on October 14. But when physical pre-sales for the event kicked off, approximately 8,000 fans, close to 6 times the amount of fans originally accounted for, showed up, making it impossible for the showcase to carry out any regular sales. 


As a result, Fantagio Music has decided to add one more date to the showcase, with the upcoming event acting as a starting point for more of ASTRO's promotions throughout Asia.
