According to a CNN report, North Korea is progressing even further with their nuclear weapons testing, going so far as to place a warhead on top of a missile.
The construction of such a weapon may seem inconceivable; nonetheless, reports say North Korea claims it has achieved the task. The news of this recent testing may be even more unsettling especially for neighboring countries such as Japan and China who are exposed to North Korea's constant threats. Just days go, North Korea had test-fired three ballistic missiles that landed in Japan's Air Defense Identification Zone, and last month, a submarine-fired missile landed in that same area.

South Korean authorities state that the nuclear experiment marks North Korea's most potent test to date, with a yield equivalent of 10 kilotons of TNT. This is North Korea's second nuclear testing within the year, and Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Organization's executive secretary Lassina Zerbo says it shows the country is "mastering the technology."
Thankfully, these are just tests and only what North Korea is claiming; analysts assured that there is no definite way to gauge the scope of North Korea's missile technology until they actually put it to use.
