Dal Shabet held the showcase for their new mini album 'Fri. Sat. Sun' on September 28, talking more about why they decided against doing another typical love song.
In the beginning of the showcase, they revealed that they have been "really bored" since their hiatus was eight months long. They said, "We were really bored. The eight months felt so long. We wanted to showcase a great performance on stage but our hiatus grew longer than expected, so we felt lonely and bored."

The girls then moved on to discussing the concept they chose for this comeback, saying that they felt the need for change and to move on from title tracks on the topic of love.
They explained, "Before we started working on 'Fri. Sat. Sun.,' we thought that it would be okay to stop telling love stories [through our songs]. So this song was born from our wish to be relevant to as many people as possible and to impart them with some good vibes without dividing the generations. We wish that people will be able to be more hopeful and get a dose of healing from this song."
