Exy shared, "I do everything like my life depends on it, and during my 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' days, I lost 8 kgs (~ 17.6 lbs). The fact that I was joining the program itself was very stressful. I felt like how I did on the show would affect not just me, but the possibility of debut for the rest of the members on my team [Cosmic Girls]."

She also talked about the positive sides of her past experience on the show, saying, "My confidence level had gone down from spending a long time as a trainee, but for my first time putting myself in front of the public, I received a good response. It was a time for me to determine what I really want to achieve in the future."
