The first ranking was a category titled 'Legendary random play dance,' and IU, Teen Top, Girls' Generation, B2ST, INFINITE, and BTS were the contenders. Though it was neck-and-neck, BTS ended up taking the top spot as the group who showcased the most legendary random play dance!
MC Defconn then informed Hani and Heechul that 'Weekly Idol' upholds the tradition of calling the idols who won first place, prompting Heechul to ring SUGA. Unfortunately, SUGA did not pick up the call, resulting in much chagrin for Heechul.
An embarrassed Heechul proceeded to call Taeyeon instead, who picked up and was baffled by the polite manner of speech in which he relayed his congratulations. Taeyeon also tipped off that GIrls' Generation is busily preparing for an album! What exciting news for all the SONEs!
The next ranking was 'Weekly Idol's Most Beloved Character,' for which Red Velvet's Irene, SHINee's Jonghyun, A Pink's Bomi, B2ST's Junhyung, EXO's Chanyeol, VIXX's Leo, and BTS's Rap Monster were the contenders. It was a close match as the idols all possess a distinctive persona; however, it was Rap Monster who ended up topping the ranking.
Cheers to BTS!
