The prostitution ring reportedly drew in their clientele through social media and hired women to conduct the weekly orgies.
According to Chosun Broadcasting Company, 46-year-old Maeng, the sponsor of the orgies, and 44-year-old Won, who provided spots for the orgies to be held, had set up a 'regular food joint' in a residential area of Seoul's Sillim-dong in 2014 which was, in fact, the main location for the orgy parties.
The prostitution ring attracted their clientele through social media, selecting the orgy participants among interested, adult male and female customers. The male participants reportedly had to pay as much as 250,000 KRW (~$224 USD) per session, and the women were compensated 100,000 KRW (~$90 USD) for participating. Chosun Broadcasting Company also reported that some participants even had the option of simply viewing the orgy take place.

The prostitution ring would host these orgy parties weekly at various motels, houses, and bars all over Korea.
Police busted the prostitution ring this past July 16, apprehending a total of 27 men and women at a scene of the orgy. Maeng, Won, and seven others were arrested, and the remaining orgy participants reportedly testified that they only engaged in sexual activities with one another after consent and in accordance to their individual sexual preferences.
