The singer then said with a hint of regret, "I could have caught more but they kept running away. So I dressed up as Pikachu. Because [the game] is played a lot overseas but doesn't really work in Korea. I didn't have any scheduled broadcast appearances yesterday so I headed to Sokcho."
Because the game uses GPS data from Google Maps, which is banned in South Korea, many people in Korea can't play the game. However, people discovered that the app works in Sokcho and many people have flocked there to play the game... including Eric.
