Seung Jun shared his initial thoughts on hearing their group name with, "When our CEO told us that our name will be KNK, I felt like the sky was falling down. We really wanted a cool name for us, but now after thinking over it for awhile, I realized that it's unique, and special. At the time, everyone in our company was in a state of alarm, but we decided to go along with it. Now I like it, and I believe that we were able to make an impression in the beginning due to our name."�

You Jin added, "I'm the person who was against the name until the very end. I even checked X on the final vote. Our other options were Must One, Kaiser, Guys, Rose of Sharon, and more. Out of all, I liked To the O�and Royal the best."
