On the June 17 airing of 'Laws of the Jungle in Papua New Guinea', Super Junior's Leeteuk climbed to the top of Mount Tavurvur, an active stratovolcano.
Although Leeteuk joined the climbing team to show viewers his manly side, once he reached the top of the volcano, he fell silent, shedding quiet tears. During his interview afterward, Leeteuk relayed, "It was like the mountain was telling me, 'You're having a hard time too, right? I'm having a hard time too but still hanging on here, so I want you to have a little more strength. I felt that whatever I told it, the great nature would just hug me and console me."
Standing atop the volcano, Leeteuk cried out, "Jung soo (Leeteuk), you've endured a lot of difficulties until today, so thank you for getting through them well. Let's keep going strong!" His voice then returned in an echo, touching not just the cast and crew, but also the viewers.
