Regarding her second solo release, Subin said, "They're songs that I wanted to share not as Dal Shabet's Subin but as just Subin. I'm also hard at work on the upcoming Dal Shabet album, and just like our group name, we plan to make a comeback with refreshing music."
When asked about the hardships of idol life, Subin answered thoughtfully, "At times, I hear remarks like 'When are you guys going to be successful?' but I want to encourage myself and the members that we're doing just fine at the moment. There are so many idol groups so just the fact that we're still active and haven't disappeared into oblivion is a something to be proud of. As long as we do keep on doing what we've been doing and don't tire, I believe we can pave our own way."
On maintaining her body, Subin revealed, "Honestly, I don't really enjoy exercise. I tend to gain weight as much as I eat but I variate my eating habits and move around a lot every day." The idol also confessed that she doesn't have a particular ideal type, saying, "Height, face, and body don't really matter [to me]. I like someone with charisma."
Subin concluded, "When I reflect on myself, I think I'm very ignorant. I'm still young, and I feel that there is still much for me to learn. As Dal Shabet member Subin, I want to be an asset to the team by doing my part as diligently as possible, and as Subin, I want to be someone who continues to grow as a person and as a musician."
