Will Jang Han Na be a part of YG's new girl group?

Ilgan Sports revealed on May 19 that YG Entertainment, who announced that they will be finally debuting a new girl group in seven years, will not be adding Jang Han Na from 'K-Pop Star' to the group. 

This past May 18, YG had revealed that they are planning on debuting a new girl group in July. Needless to say, people were excited about this news as a new girl group from YG has been long overdue. Among the guesses people made as to who could make it as a final member, Jang Han Na has been the biggest contender. Many people were certain that Jang Han Na would be at least considered for a spot as she wound up joining YG and even featured on Jinusean's "Tell Me One More Time."

However, Jang Han Na was not on the roster as one of the contenders for YG's anticipated new girl group. The label related, "As we are working on things discreetly, we cannot reveal who the exact members are," but revealed that Jang Han Na is "not one of the final members."
