Taiwanese artist plagiarized iKON's song?

iKON is mired in a plagiarism controversy again, but this time, the boys are not the ones being accused of plagiarism. Rather, netizens speculate that a rising Taiwanese artist by the name of Du Tian Hao (Calvin Tu) plagiarized "Rhythm Ta," a song on iKON's album 'Welcome Back.'�

One netizen shared the full version of Calvin Tu's song and the full MV to "Rhythm Ta" as well as a short clip which combines the songs from both artists.�

When you play the clip which combines the songs, you can hear that though distinguishable, the beat and melody bear close resemblance.�


Others who saw the post generally seem to agree that Tu plagiarized the song. They commented,�"Lololol I was listening to the Taiwanese version and I can tell which parts of 'Rhythm Ta' were plagiarized. The beat is exactly the same," "The whole song was copied;;," "Is YG not going to say anything about this, are they sleeping, can they hear me," and more.
