On May 24, just one day left before his mandatory military enlistment, N-SONIC's leader J-Heart addressed fans for the first time regarding the lawsuit through his Instagram.
He wrote,
"Hello, it's J-Heart.
First and foremost, I apologize to our loving fans for hurting your hearts with disagreeable news. I'm writing because I know that our fans are worrying, and it also didn't feel proper for me to leave for 2 years without even a word. I'm so sorry, knowing that the [cancelled] fanmeeting was a long-anticipated meeting with not only our domestic fans, but also our fans from overseas, who traveled far to attend.
I bow my head in sincere apology.
The post I uploaded early on May 23 was just to express my thanks to our fans who've been with us for the past 5 years, and watching a clip I made to show you at the fanmeeting at home alone made me tear up and sorrowful. Again, I thank you sincerely, and apologize sincerely.
We can't explain to you exactly what all is happening yet, but I'm pained that this is happening in a situation where I have to leave for a while. Please show our N-SONIC members your continued love and support until the end.
Lastly, the reason that we were able to begin this journey under difficult conditions, and the reason that we were able to get this far is all thanks to Supersonic. I know better than anyone that without Supersonic, we would not be here today.
If we say that this is the end, it will become the end, but if we say that it's a new beginning, I believe it will become a new beginning.
Thank you so much for always being with us. And we love you."
We hope for leader J-Heart's safe return from his military service!
