MONSTA X talk about rival boy groups like Seventeen and iKON

MONSTA X held the showcase for their third mini album 'The Clan Part. 1' on May 18 at Seoul's Yes24 Live Hall. 

During the showcase, MONSTA X talked about their relationship with other relatively rookie boy groups such as Seventeen and iKON. The members opened up, "Rather than compete, we tend to take care of one another. If we happen to meet in the waiting room, we play around and maintain friendly relations." 

Wonho added, "We appeared on a Chinese program with iKON and spent a lot of time filming with them. We worried about one another a lot and became close enough to feel a camaraderie. We don't compete."

When asked about which group he'd like to see win first place, Wonho answered sheepishly, "Though I'd like for everyone to win first place, it'd be nice if we won."
