On a recent episode of 'Please Take Care of the Witch', Kangin revealed his new ideal type. He said, "My ideal type used to be a girl with pretty feet, but now what matters more is what's in the inside rather than the outside." He continued, "I like a girl who can lead me."

Kangin ultimately chose comedian Kim Sook as his ideal type. The two then acted out a skit where they turned into a couple. Despite Kim Sook's aggressive lead, Kangin was calm and understanding.
