In their interview, Homme said, "This time we came out with a confession song that comes from left field. The lyrics are witty, matching with the manly feel of Homme instead of beating around the bush. �We had the intention to melt the honest feelings of a man going through one-sided love in a light spring song, and we are very satisfied."
