Yesung appeared on SBS's 'Cultwo Show' on April 21 and talked about his image as a cold person.
A listener stated, "Yesung, you've gotten a lot calmer. You are like Haemin Sunim (a Buddhist monk)." He said in response, "Honestly, I had a cold image in the past. I was told that a lead vocal shouldn't talk, so I maintained something of a mystical vibe." Again with the mystical vibe!

He continued, "My eyes look sharp, so if I am silent, people seemed to be afraid of me. It was like that with my juniors and, even worse, I think fans were scared of me. But a lot of time has passed now, hasn't it? I think my image naturally changed."
