2NE1 is disbanding and Minzy is leaving YG Entertainment?

Update: YG announces that Minzy is leaving 2NE1

Various rumors say that 2NE1 is officially disbanding in the near future, and Minzy is already searching for a new label. 

On April 4, media outlet TV Daily reported, "2NE1's contract with YG is soon about to end, and it's highly possible that they are going to be disbanding. In fact, Minzy was about to sign with a new label already, but it did not happen due to disagreement in financial settlements."

Rumors on Minzy's departure from 2NE1, and also YG Entertainment has surfaced in the past. She has also shown suspicious actions by deleting 2NE1 out of her SNS name in 2014. On top of that, Minzy is the only one who has not been active ever since 2NE1's last album 'CRUSH'. Currently CL is getting ready for debut in the U.S, while Dara has been active on variety shows and more. Park Bom's drug scandal is also putting more weight on the rumors about disbandment. 

Overall, rumors about 2NE1 are heating up again with recent reports claiming that Minzy is looking for a new agency. This time, many fans can't help but raise suspicions, in light of all that's taken place. 

YG Entertainment has announced that they will make an official announcement regarding 2NE1's rumors on April 5.
