University students force freshmen to inappropriately touch one another

Some students at the prestigious Yonsei University are receiving criticism for the inappropriate demands some upperclassmen forced on newly enrolled freshmen. Allegedly, the freshmen were forced by the older students to touch the chest area, legs, and other parts of the body of the opposite sex. 

On a Facebook page called 'Yonsei Bamboo,' a freshman identified as 'A' shared the details of the incident and protested inappropriate demands of the upperclassmen. 

According to the post, the students of the department that 'A' is enrolled in all headed to the bar for some drinks after freshmen orientation as a way to build camaraderie. 

It was at this social gathering that the head of the department suggested drinking games which involved the punishing of the freshmen by demanding hugs, kisses, or love shots from them.

As the demands grew more aggressive and insistent, the freshmen were forced to touch fellow students' legs and chest, and allegedly, a female freshman even demonstrated the demands on an older male student. 

'A' complained, "I don't know why we have to endure this humiliation. I really felt the need for there to be education on gender equality."  

When news of this incident circulated on campus, students demanded immediate investigation into the matter and raised their voices for an official apology from the parties that were involved.
