The voting procedures have shifted a bit on 'Produce 101,' vastly narrowing the viewers' choice when it comes to selecting their favorite trainees on the program.
A 'Produce 101' representative told Xports News on March 8, "The number of trainees you can vote for will decrease from 11 to 5 starting from the third voting round. Please check for additional details through the broadcast."
Previously, news outlets had reported that the change in the system will alter the voting procedure so that viewers can only vote for seven trainees instead of eleven. However, it seems the earlier report was erroneous and the actual number of trainees that viewers can vote for is five.
The altered third round voting system will be initiated beginning on this week's episode.
