If you're the type to rush out the door every morning, then this new development from Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (SMRT) may just be the perfect innovation. 

According to an announcement from SMRT which was released on March 27, ladies' powder rooms will be installed in various subway stations around Seoul. 

In each powder room, a big mirror and a handheld mirror, along with dryers and curling irons will be provided for communal use. The powder room to be built at Yeouido Station will allow 3~4 people to share the space at one time.

Citizens have been reacting positively to the construction of these powder rooms, and SMRT plans to build around 10~15 additional powder rooms in subway stations scattered the Seoul metro area. 

Netizens, however, had more of a negative reaction, leaving snarky comments such as, "What the actual f*ck why don't you make a section for pregnant women first," "This is some f*ckery. They must be rolling in money, eh? What about the time when you laid off employees claiming you didn't have money," "I can't help but frown at the women who do their makeup in public..it seems lazy and pathetic," "Is this why fees for public transportation are rising," and, "Yes, great, now let's make a toast room for people who didn't have breakfast."
