Lee Hi gave deeper insight into her three-year break from the music scene.
Regarding the hiatus, Lee Hi said, "I started my career as a singer at a young age. The song "1,2,3,4" did very well, but then I was given a long break. The time away was not easy, but it did allow me to think and mature. Of course, it is important for a singer to present a great performance, but now I came to realize that I want my music to be healing to many listeners."

She continued, "Singing my new songs was healing for myself as well. I think I understood about 70~80% of the story that my songs portray. In the music video for "Breathe", I wanted to reflect many feelings as possible so many people can easily relate to it. Feelings such as being exhausted after work, struggling after a breakup, and more."
Lee Hi also discussed about her age difference between the last and new album. Lee Hi, who has just turned 21, commented, "It's the same as before. Nothing changed. I still feel like I'm in my teens, and I'm worried that I won't change." She added, "I did dream of being a cool career woman in my 20s, and I think I am doing just that now."
In addition, people have been giving compliments on her upgraded looks. She commented, "I think it's because I have become older." Overall, the three years of Lee Hi's break might have been long, but totally worth the time as it allowed her to grow mentally and musically.
