On the 15th, Conan's fan meeting was scheduled to be held for two hours. The first 230 fans at the door were to join this precious time with Conan.

However, the fan meeting only lasted 30 minutes. This was already making fans disappointed enough, but a picture Mark Lippert, the United States Ambassador to South Korea, posted on his twitter stirred up angry fans even more.
The picture was simply showing Conan smiling with Mark Lippert. However, many fans came to a conclusion that Conan abruptly ended his fan meeting to go meet the United States Ambassador to South Korea, and was highly disappointed and also angry.
As a result, many fans left rude comments on Conan's SNS, but it turns out that it was not Conan's fault for the fan meeting failure. It was actually the fan meeting planner who misleadingly presented information.
The fan meeting planner announced that the location for the fan meeting was booked for 3 hours, which then caused fans to assume that the fan meeting will last about 2 hours. The planner apologized as he said, "I am very sorry to all the fans who were excited for this fan meeting. There was a misunderstanding, and it is my fault for not presenting the exact time frame for the fan meeting. I will work to not make such mistakes again."
It seems as this fan meeting will be remembered as an unfortunate mistake in Conan O'Brien's visit to Korea.
