The February 8 episode of 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' became a crying fest thanks to Simon D, whose tears came unbidden when he tasted a dish that reminded him of his beloved mother.�

After eating Choi Hyun Suk's pasta dish which was inspired from his mother's galbitang, the rapper said tearfully, "It's the taste that makes me want to eat with my mother." The tears came more freely when Simon D tasted the dish created by Hong Suk Chun, who had cooked up a variation of risotto out of the samgyetang originally made by his mother. Simon D said, "I can really taste the samgyetang. It's the first time I've cried on TV."�
Soon the entire studio became a sea of tears as the MCs and the chefs's eyes also welled with tears.�
No doubt Simon D misses his mother a lot; let's hope he got to go see his family for the Lunar New Year.�
