Mnet's 'Produce 101' is up for the competitive reality show's first round of eliminations, and it's reported that the show will be letting not 1 or 2 trainees go, but 40!
An insider revealed that the elimination episode will be filmed during the third week of February. After the popularity vote, which will be held until February 13, 60-70 girls are expected to stay on the show, while 40 are eliminated. 'Produce 101' held its first concert at end of 2015, and 1000 audience members voted for who they think is worthy enough to stay on the show.
As previously revealed, 'Produce 101' will end up producing the concept, debut song, group name, and more for a new 'nation's girl group.'
