While it's good to see that the drama is making effort to reenact key stories in the webtoon, every problem that the drama is throwing at me is somewhat overbearing, similar to the feelings that I get when watching a makjang drama.
What makes me happy about this particular episode is the fact that the producers have finally brought Eun Taek and Bora, the one couple who actually deserve each other in this drama, together. I've been waiting since day one to see these two lovebirds progress their relationship to being more than friends.
It's like one of those moments when you already know that they will get together in the end, but still get extremely happy anyways watching it happen.
Just look at how adorable these two are!! If it wasn't obvious up until now, Eun Taek and Bora are definitely my favorite couple in this whole drama. Second couple syndrome is even stronger than second lead syndrome.
As for the overall episode, which still centered around In Ho especially after he confesses his feelings to Seol, was extremely unsettling to say the least. In Ho reveals to In Hat hat he is going to leave the area once he wins the concours, and Yoo Jung is back to his manipulative ways.
Just when we thought that Yoo Jung was taking a step forward, he takes a giant step backwards by going through with his typical 'eye for an eye' revenge against Sang Chul. This doesn't even come as a surprise anymore for both the viewers and Seol, who ends up embracing Yoo Jung after witnessing the brief altercation between him and Sang Chul.
For that moment, I was relieved that Seol and Yoo Jung weren't going to fight anymore. But then got to thinking...should we even be happy about Seol understanding Yoo Jung and supporting him at a time like this? Sure, it's a step forward when it comes to their relationship, but is this really someone that Seol can trust and depend on?
By the end of episode 14, I really want to ask the producers... where are you exactly going with this?
