The story of a resourceful, brave pet dog that saved a family from being consumed by flames is warming the hearts of netizens! 

On February 2, an online post titled 'Abandoned dog repays debt' was posted which shared a picture of a pint-sized pup and the story of how it had saved the lives of the family that had adopted it. 

'A', who was the one that uploaded the story, wrote, "There could have been a fire early in the morning due to a short circuit. If it weren't for Seonggong-yi that my husband had brought home, we would have been in the afterlife." 

According to 'A', Seonggong-yi couldn't bark too loudly at the time as he had recently undergone surgery on his vocal cords. Despite this, Seonggong-yi had barked to save the family that had rescued him from the streets.
